UU Religious Education
UU CHILDREN
learn about community and tradition, people and things around them, have the freedom to discover and express their own uniqueness,
and gain understanding of their place in the interdependent web of life.
UU YOUTH choose from programs such as "How Others Worship," "How Can I Know What I Believe?"
"The Nature of Peace and Justice" and "Exploring Racial Justice and Diversity." There is share time to talk about themselves
and their concerns. UUCOD has the program materials, a welcoming space, and a fine, experienced,
dedicated director and teacher in Juanita Garner (it's worth coming to church each Sunday just to hear her "Story for All
Ages") What we don't have at the present time is many children, and virtually no youth. We are seeking ways to get the word
out to parents looking for a peaceful, positive, non-dogmatic, guilt-free religious education for their children. If you have
read this far, please tell your friends!

Children start Sunday mornings in the Sanctuary with parents and other adults who welcome their presence, then move to their
own space for classes.
